PATRICIA MORALES
Patricia Morales is a hairstylist and designer with an illustrious career rooted in a mix of cultural influences and artistic innovation. Growing up in Del Rio, Texas, Morales was immersed in the Chicano and Lowrider cultures, which shaped her unique aesthetic. She began her professional journey at Toni & Guy in Dallas, where she became a creative director before moving to New York City in 1997. In New York, she worked at the Patricia Field Wig Salon and styled wigs alongside legendary club kids.
Morales is known for creating Lady Gaga's iconic "hair bow" in the Poker Face video and Fergie’s braided headphones in Boom Boom Pow. Her client list includes celebrities and brands such as Katy Perry, Shakira, Britney Spears, Robert Pattinson, Finneas, Zachary Quinto, Neiman Marcus, Perry Ellis, Lucky Brand, and Chrome Hearts.
Her work has appeared in publications including British Vogue, Vogue Mexico, Vanity Fair, Harper's Bazaar, GQ, ELLE, Interview, Wonderland, Details, and InStyle Magazine.
Patricia recently opened LA MORALES, a salon and hair spa in East Hollywood. The space combines her expertise in hairstyling with an artistic ambiance, catering to both private and celebrity clients. It serves as a creative hub where her bold vision and years of experience come to life, offering a transformative and personalized experience. Her hair accessory collections, such as "Tough Love" and "Harajuku Chola," draw inspiration from Chola culture, '90s pop influences, and Harajuku style, featuring unique, handcrafted pieces like crowns and combs.
